Located in the heart of the settlement, the Hub integrates a cafe, public bathrooms, a post office and a bank, providing a convenient one-stop destination for the diverse needs of residents and visitors of the new settlement.

The three main structures embrace a newly sculpted edge to the River Glaven, offering a strategic, picturesque and welcoming respite for travellers and allowing them to rest, eat, relieve or securely moor their boats and park their bikes.

The hub draws inspiration from postcards of the past. The play of timber planes takes inspiration from the fluid relationships of flotillas of boats. Visitors traverse the gliding platforms and intersecting forms, framing views of the river as they navigate through the internal spaces, forging a connection with nature's surroundings.
