Great Yarmouth, once a prominent wellness tourism destination in the 1800s, has faced numerous challenges including war, commercial air travel, seasonality and the recent pandemic. To address these issues, a solution is proposed: a deployable seasonal festival that can adapt to different attractions in the town. The festival originates from a community hub and can be easily relocated based on tourist hotspots throughout the year. The objective is to attract wellness tourists and enhance the well-being of the local community. The festival system is modular, drawing inspiration from flatpack architecture, with standardised components transported between locations and specialised elements stored on-site. Through the implementation of this festival, Great Yarmouth aims to rejuvenate tourism and promote well-being for all.
