The sunflower serves as a remarkable source of inspiration for a building program that promotes sustainable practices and renewable energy. This project explores a small industry focused on producing bio-based insulation panels from the agricultural waste of sunflowers. The building harnesses renewable energy through solar tracking solar panels, reflecting the sunflower's ability to maximise solar energy conversion. The core objective of this building is to create a sustainable structure that optimises the potential of sunflower seeds, a valuable resource. By utilising waste to manufacture bio-based materials, the program reduces both waste and reliance on non-renewable materials.
