The year is 2050. The opaque water of the River Thames merely disguises the atrocity hiding below the surface, contributing to the negligence and ignorance of the people. Beneath the surface, there is a myriad of evidence of humanity's cruelty and negligence towards Earth's natural resources.

The project proposes a multi-use bridge; a means of transportation, habitation and utilisation. The proposed building is a facility that harnesses the sheer power of the River Thames, while also utilising it as a connection between the north and south banks of the river, rather than allowing it to act as a boundary for segregation. Electricity is generated by harnessing the power of the intense tidal flow to meet the building's functional needs and to serve as a source of energy for the surrounding area.

For the Thames, the building is a machine. For the building, the river becomes a reason for existence. Their existence is interdependent because without the bridge, the Thames and its surrounding areas are destined for a future of pollution and inequality.
