This project delves into a future where memory extraction and implantation technologies are commonplace. The rich exploit these advancements to cure their psychological illness, while the impoverished sell their cherished memories to the highest bidders. Set in the desolate landscape of Dungeness, this multifunctional architecture serves as a poignant reflection of the unequal distribution of resources and power.

The architecture engenders contrasting ritual experiences for the rich and poor, wherein the former undergoes a purification journey prior to surgery, while the latter is subtly manipulated into embracing the procedure through a reflective encounter. Memory emerges as the central concept propelling the project forward. The project draws inspiration from the collective spatial memories present in Dungeness and incorporates a range of devices to provide an immersive sensory experience aimed at evoking and encoding memories.

Through its exploration of societal divisions, the evocative power of architecture, and the manipulation of memories, this project presents a dystopian narrative that uncomfortably mirrors our own world.
