This project explores fire and its broader relationship with indigenous groups in the Amazon region, with a focus on a sustainable and circular way of occupying a site. The aim is to utilise low-carbon materials to produce a building that embraces fire, using bundles of low-calibre elements to produce columns from lower-grade timber units. The programme of the building is centred around provision for local artists working with clay, providing studio spaces and a new park and community spaces for the local community.
