Studio 4 explores the space between objects, their agency and the impact of performative actions on familiar environments. They examine the interstitial layers that define our activities and daily lives, bridging our skin and the environment. How can we challenge assumptions about utility and protection through ritual and performance?
Butterfly Suit maximises human body movement and visualises invisible natural forces. It uses a wearable suit to capture motion and energy from body movements and the wind.
Caterpillar experiments with shape, mechanisms and materials, embodying the insect's nature on a larger scale within the same environment.

The project aimed to amplify human body movement and visualise natural forces. Inspired by global carnivals, the wearable suit captures motion and energy. Floats embody the extraordinary human body, creating rhythm and sensation.
The project is a metaphorical representation of the butterfly effect, encompassing colour, sound and visual dynamics. Through this pavilion, we aim to capture and present the spirit of carnival to our audience.
