In the era of mass-production, hyper-processed meals reign supreme, leading to unprecedented rise in food waste. What a more fun way to educate children and young adults about this pressing issue than to invite them to Alice’s Kitchen? You are invited to a trip down the rabbit hole, encountering the ravishing halls of the gallery space. It will introduce you to the cookware and ingredients used in preparation of the season’s menu. Educational spaces teach students about cooking seasonal dishes with locally grown ingredients and repurposing food waste: fantastical banquets that Lewis Carroll concocted. When teatime comes, you are rushed to plop around an elongated dining table that doubles as a corridor. But don’t dilly-dally, else be met by the tides of delicious overflowing strawberry tea from the central fountain! Dwelling spaces are also provided for those who would want to rest after their meal.
