This project aims to reconnect the increasingly aging and neglected elderly population of Zorrotzaurre with the neighbourhood at large through the creation a community centre by adaptively reusing an existing industrial warehouse.

The design respects the existing brick and concrete structure and utilises the existing warehouse bays to create internal courtyards. The project focuses on bringing in nature within sheltered zones, transforming the existing building into series of recreational and social spaces for the occupants.
